LSQ Series Silent Ball Linear Guideway
The LSQ Series is Luoyang Songju's quiet linear guideway solution, purpose-engineered for applications where low operating noise is not just desirable but mandatory. The key innovation is the ball chain -- a precision-molded polymer retainer that spaces each ball at a uniform pitch within the recirculation circuit. By eliminating direct ball-to-ball contact, the chain abolishes the collision noise that accounts for the majority of audible sound in conventional ball guideways. The result is operating noise below 65dB, quieter than normal human conversation.
Beyond noise reduction, the ball chain delivers several secondary benefits: it acts as an oil reservoir maintaining consistent lubrication film between balls and raceways, it prevents ball skew and uneven loading within the circuit, and it enables higher traversing speeds without ball crowding. LSQ guideways are manufactured from the same high-carbon bearing steel as our LGS and LGR lines, with identical heat treatment and grinding standards.
